J. G. Wentworth Loan Officers Overtime Lawsuit

David Dickens, a former Loan Officer with JG Wentworth, filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.  He claims that Loan Officers paid on a commission basis were improperly denied overtime.

The Court authorized that Notice be sent to all Loan Officers that worked in one of Wentworth’s call centers for the period February 2015 to the present.  You can read the Notice here. Wentworth Loan Officers Overtime Litigation Notice and Consent Forms

Statute of Limitations: Employees in federal overtime actions can only recover wages dating at most three years back from the date they file their consent in federal court in an unpaid wage lawsuit.

Wentworth contends that it properly paid the Loan Officers and contends that it does not owe any overtime wages.
